Favorite Garden Vegetables, Part 1 - Swiss Chard

Would not it be nice to a garden full of your favorite vegetable? To achieve this, you would know by experience, have each kind. There are simply too many garden vegetables to choose from, so that learning from others is the only practical way to know what are the best vegetables for your home vegetable garden.

This hardy plant comes in different colors - white cells, red and rainbow tribe. Chard is easy to grow and tolerate a wide range of weather conditions. It can be grown successfully in the spring, summer and autumn. With adequate protection, a 2 foot by 3 foot plot of chard can be taken in early winter and an armful of greens each weeksatisfy your need for fresh dark green leafy vegetables.
